What is Five Element Acupuncture

Five Element Acupuncture is rooted in the ancient wisdom that nature, like us, moves through cycles of growth, stillness, joy, grief, and renewal. This form of acupuncture listens deeply to where you are in your journey, seeking not just to ease symptoms, but to restore balance at the source.

The Five Elements, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are found throughout nature and within each of us.

In Five Element Acupuncture, we understand that good health depends on the harmonious flow of these elemental energies. When one or more elements fall out of balance, it can become the root cause of physical or emotional symptoms.

These imbalances might show up as chronic illness, fatigue, difficulty recovering from injury, or just not feeling quite right. Treatment aims to restore the natural flow of energy, helping you return to your best possible state of health and wellbeing.

By treating the cause not just the condition it invites your body and spirit to find their natural harmony. Ideal for emotional wellbeing, chronic stress, hormonal health, and feeling "off" without a clear cause.

About Treatment

Your acupuncture journey begins with a detailed initial consultation, where we’ll take time to explore your symptoms as well as your full medical history. Diagnosis is carried out using traditional methods of pulse taking located on your wrists, the pulse gives me more information on how best to treat you.

This first appointment lasts approximately 1- 1 1/2 hours. Follow-up sessions generally last 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Each treatment is completely individual and tailored to you. I focus not just on easing symptoms, but on identifying and addressing the root cause of your condition supporting your body, mind and spirit as a whole.
